Hey guys, hoping someone can advise me on this.
Im wanting to create a media server on a home network that is accessible from anywhere there's an internet connection. Ive had a look online but I can't find any good info on the best way to go about this.
Would the box need an operating system? What kind of security would be needed since it will essentially be accessible from the internet? Is a setup like this capable of streaming video/music well?
Is there a better way to do this?
