Internet or I.E problems

Hello,

Am having internet problems i think.

I can ping the bbc.co.uk web site not a problem. i get an ip address from the router and all the lights are as normal it worked fine and all of a sudden it wont load any web pages any more,

I had f secure on the computer but i have taken that off using add/remove programs. its running windows xp and am with orange on a Dlink router. and i have 2 computers on the router and both are the same.

everything is on DHCP but for some reason i can not get online it starts to load the home page which is orange but after about 40mins it loads half the site.

What i want to know is

could it be the
router
I.E
Software

I have had the line tested and its fine and i have changed the microfilter

any help would be brilliant

Do you have a proxy set up in I.E.? Do you have another browser to test your connection with?

yep tried it with apples safari and the proxy is not on.

Download the FSecure removal tool using another machine and run it on the machine having issues - seen problems with FSecure leaving remnants on a system
