Ok, when I load a webpage I can see that the page has fully loaded, but the browser still shows as loading. I have left it in this loading state for 10 minutes at one point to make sure the page had not fully loaded, but no the page had loaded.

This happens in IE 8, Opera 11 and Firefox 4. I have actually just done a clean format of Windows 7 64bit as its been needed for a while now. With the clean format I didnt bother with IE or Opera, just installed Firefox 4.

The same is happening, it doesnt do it on all pages, on these forums it does it a lot, ie if I click into a thread or write a post myself. I can see the page is loaded, but its always like its trying to load something else when infact there is nothing else to load.

Its nothing major really, but its annoying having to press the stop button constantly. Also I am using the standard Windows 7 firewall. When I searched google I get the usual things to try, such as clear cache, turn off extensions etc. Well I have tried all those, and as I said this is on a clean install and clean Firefox with no extensions even downloaded.

What can I do to stop this?

Cheers :)

I very often get the same :(

Yes thats it, and it always says in the statusbar something like "waiting for forums.overclockers.co.uk..." or whatever site it is.

Not all sites, but more often or not it happens :(

Yeah I get the same, don't think I've tried other browsers, but I get it on both my laptop on desktop. Quite annoying really.
