Internet phones

Not sure if we can talk about these on here, if not then delete.

Without mentioning the provider... Im thinking about getting rid of my existing phone line and getting an internet phone. Does anyone else use these?
It seems as long as i watch what numbers i phone its far far better than my exsisting line costs.
Ill get the one that doesnt need to be plugged via USB and im able to use my existing phone set.

Probably best in the mobile forum but yep if you are a light user, ie you don't download much media or play games then it could work out cheaper. No landline or ADSL to pay and you can get it for about £10 per month now on top of your standard monthly rental.

My XDA Orbit has a USB socket on it and it seems there are options that allow you to pass the Internet through it.

O2 suck for data charges though, (possibly changed now they have the iphone) but go with 3 or TMobile.

Oh yeah and check you can get a 3G signal, you don't wanna be on GPRS.
