Internet port speed

Hi, i just got VM and the superhub. This hub has been replaced 2 times and is still not working correctly. It works great in modem mode. The speed i get atm is 160 mb/s. When i tried it with a DIR 615 I was getting around 70mb/s. Would i need a gigabit router otherwise my speed would be capped at 100 mb/s

I presume when it has 10/100 this means all ports including the ethernet?

Yes you're correct your Dlink only has 10/100 ports, that's why you wont see more than 70-80mb on a speedtest using that router.

DIR's are great but limited by the 100mb interfaces.

any suggestions on cheap alternatives (25 mark)

i was looking at this Tenda N60 or maybe an a 5th gen airport express off ebay
