Hello,
As you may or may not remember, I have a set of TP Link 200Mbps Homeplugs (Boosters) on my computer. The router is up in the attic because of a special socket we have fitted to improve connectivity. On my laptop, I connect wirelessly and for the most part, the internet works fine (although does drop out for a few seconds every now and again).
It's coming up to GCSE revision time and frankly, I need to get this problem with my computer fixed. I've left it for quite a while, but quite frankly this needs to be fixed. I don't know what I need to get in order to fix it. As the homeplug is too slow, these speed tests (from my computer) are being run from a Wi-fi adapter.
Speed test from my laptop (working fine):
Speed tests from my computer (issues - test run from PCI wi-fi adapter):
(slowest)
Quite frankly there's something wrong, and it needs to be fixed.
Any ideas? Help would be appreciated!
Regards,
Dominic
