Virgin Media cable is not available in your area
Smallworld Media cable is not available in your area

However, if I go to the virgin media website... I get:

Great News

You're in a cable area! So that means you can get Virgin Media services that are second to none! We're talking superfast broadband and crystal clear Digital TV. Not to mention great value deals on your mobile and home phone.

Just looking for a bit of direction and advice as to the best way to go.

Not likely to get 24mb tho. With cable, do you get the advertised speed?

Its not uncapped, so for say a 2mb connection, your download speed will be about 230KB/s

With the vigin media 20meg connection, will you always get the full 20meg connection? (ie adsl max is 8mb, but unless your close to the exchange, you wont get that)

Hmmm dunno what to do. Kinda thinking if it aint broke....... but then im paying £43 quid a month for 4mb speeds, when if I went with virgin media I could get 20mb for £37 a month

Definately go with Be, even if you don't get the full speed, it's worth it for a truly unlimited service, no download caps are a blessing!

doh!

Anyway Be advise 2.5Mps would be the connection speed for me :( might have to give virgin a go.
