Hi there,

I'm living in a flat within a house of about 4 flats all owned by one landlord.

The landlord has a virgin media hub on the ground floor providing wireless internet to all of the flats. I'm on the second floor and the connection isn't good.

What are my options for improving my connection? I'm not too knowledgeable on the subject so would appreciate some suggestions.

I thought that I could possibly start another connection in my flat (Paying monthly) so that I could connect directly via a cable which would be ideal.

Although after just speaking with virgin they have said that this isn't possible . .

Thanks in adv

Thanks for the reply.

Just contacted Virgin and protested that the flats were separate addresses with seperate post etc. They are going to send someone to come and check whether or not they can install a new connection in the separate flats.

Minimum 2 days maximum 2 weeks. :(
