Hi guys, im thinking about starting an internet radio for our university, would you need a license to play music etc? if so how and how much is this? , anybody know whether its easy to do? cheers

It may be a PRS licence.

However, surely you have bands at Uni who would be able to help out. You'd both win then.

Students are there to study not listen to an Internet Radio. Everywhere that's tried it in schools / colleges / universities have failed after around 3 months because no1 wants to listen to them. Failed projects and a waste of public money.

My college attempted to do it, it failed completely.
