Internet Security 2010 - removal help...

Hey guys,

I'm trying to get rid of Internet Security 2010 from my clueless brother's laptop...

There's a lot on the web about this 'rogue spyware app' but there's also lots of conflicting solutions? Could someone with experience of removal give me any pointers?

The laptop just loads a black screen (with mouse pointer) in a normal boot, but in Safe Mode I can get into Windows. He's got vista premium

Run Malwarebytes in safemode. It gets rid of it entirely, though I'd guess he has other malware on there too so it'd be wise to run something else like Hitman too.

In safe mode, start, run, msconfig, go to startup, disable everything you don't recognise, then reboot and run malwarebytes
