Internet Sharing in Lion

Evening,
This may be common knowledge to all, however thought I would share as it caused me much frustration!

My iMac is upstairs, connected to my router downstairs via ethernet over power which works fine. As my wifi signal is rubbish upstairs, I use Internet Sharing to broadcast a secure wifi access point from my Mac which I could connect to from my iPhone and iPad.

However, since upgrading to Lion on day 1 this hasn't worked, seems there are plenty of complaints on the net also supporting this. The problem would be that you were unable to connect to the internet from said device.

I managed to resolve the issue by changing my "Network name" under 'sys pref' > 'sharing' > 'internet sharing' > 'wifi options' from the default computer name, e.g. "Turbo-G's iMac" to something simple like "iMac".

Hope this helps somebody out there!
