Hello,

I am wondering if it is ok to use a phone line splitter on an ADSL DSL Filter connected to the wall socket?

Or is it best to connect the splitter to the wall, and then use two ADSL Filters for each device?

The reason I ask is because a sky box and a phone is currently connected to just the one microfilter in the wall using a phone splitter, and I am not sure this is ok? I do not own the devices and have not been here for long but am wondering if this may cause a problem with the internet or phone at any point?

Please do let me know if you can help

thanks

The device on the right is a dual RJ11 adapter, you should just use a normal BT dual socket adapter for the sky box and phone. The microfilter on the left must be the first thing plugged into the wall socket, the router in ADSL/Modem socket then the dual BT socket adapter in the phone socket, sky and phone into this.
