I am thinking now i have spy ware so i will run avg overnight.


I did run netstat and itseem there a lot on connections running i don't think its normal ?




Any advice would be great.

What are you doing on port 445? Torrenting over VPN or something weird?

Top half is fine, it's just web browser connections.
Bottom half is something else that you are doing, file sharing or something.

No torrent software running.

Only xfire and hamachi

I don't know whats slowing me down it even happens on xp ( i have dual and vista 32 bit.

I use T mobile web & walk its not that fast as it is only 7.2 mbps

I got avg firewall on but still same thing :(
 
Ok avg sorted all them funny connections to my pc i was getting :D

But if i play games using Hamachi my m8 ping/latency still very high and getting connection timed out a lot when he ping my Hamachi server.

And if Hamachi is on it stops firefox or IE from working (cannot display page error)

The second i turn off Hamachi internet works fine.

So i take that into account maybe thats why getting high pings cause it was all working fine a week ago :(

I tested in xp and vista but i try xp again just incase

anyone got any ideas ?

(My net connection did not have any default geteways in the advance options so i set to 5.0.0.1 (same as hamachi ) and so far hamachi and the internet working together atm.

Only thing i can't test is the ping/latency problems till my m8 comes online later.

And should i leave automatic metric to auto ? (hamachi was set to 9000? when i made it lower it made ping worst last time i messed with that.

That's sounding like its down to routing, Your PCs Default route that it uses for the internet and things not on your subnet is probably pointing out via the hamachi adapter.

In command prompt to "route print" and paste what you have there. I suspect you might need to tweak a metric.
 
Cheers Skidilliplop but the problem all gone now lol

All i did was change hamachi default geteway to 5.0.0.2 and everything went bk to how it use to be :D
