I have been on BT Internet for years and for the past couple of years on the home hub. The max speed I have ever got out of this thing was 2MB, and normally it was anything between 1-2MB. About a month ago I noticed that the speed has gone to a snails pace and at first I wondered if I had been capped (downloads seemed to be stuck at 30kb/40kb). I emailed the help desk and got the usual FAQ answer, I have tried changing microfilters and taking phones out etc. If I log onto the home hub page it tells me I am getting a whopping:
Downstream 384 Kbps
Upstream 448 Kbps
My question is do you think I have been capped (not much of a downloader) and have any of you experienced this before?
