About two weeks ago we upgraded our broadband package from the Sky Everyday (Up to 10MB) to the Sky Unlimited (Up to 20MB). When we were on the 10MB package I got maximum download speeds of about 520-530KB/s. Now, instead of increasing, my maximum download speeds seem to have gone down to around 420-430KB/s and I don't understand why? Surely being that we are on the Unlimited package the speeds should have increased to say, 700KB/s or something?
We were with Tiscali broadband before Sky, and on their unlimited package we got around 730KB/s download speeds so I know that our line isn't the problem and that it can support faster speeds.
Does anyone have any idea what could be going on? Do I need to contact Sky about it?
