Hi. I have quite a weird problem.
My internet seems sluggish and my streams won't work (mobile on twitch doesn't work well). Sometimes, it even fails to connect to the twitch stream (I get this screen, and it never goes off this screen). I also tried different streaming platforms and they equally don't work. Youtube works well, and download speeds look ok too. Ping when online gaming is good too. Rarely I get some lag spikes, but it doesn't annoy me a lot.
The speed tests look fine, the there is a problem. Sometimes it lakes 30 seconds to load my hotmail.
I'm not sure what the problem is. I used to think it was me imagining, due to the ping being ok, but there is certainly something wrong. I used to be able to play 2 'source' streams on twitch with no lag at all. Now I can't hold one on low without CONSTANT lag.
Can it be my crap router. I have a Thomson TG 585 v8, which is quite crap. Can a good router fix my problem?
