Internet to Treehouse 170m from main building suggestions

I have a family member with a large property. The main house is 175m from the treehouse and not fully line of sight from building. We cannot run cable the whole way to roots from house to tree power making it difficult. We have power sockets in the wood 100m from the house with a tree 10m from that would give line of sight to the front of the house. This is approx 50 to 60m from the treehouse. The tree house is obscured by canopy and bushes not that dense from the power socket.

The need is for a Camera and sensor at the treehouse. No real need for Wifi but suppose wouldn't hurt. Current setup is starlink running on UDM SE in main house so want to stay in same ecosystem and protect for cameras if possible.

My current thinking is point to point with ubiquiti-ns-5ac-kit Or Loco if it will do the job from front of house to trees. I will have a POE Switch at the power in an enclosure and then if we can run 60m of cable in shielded conduit if cant be buried to an AP / Cameras at tree house.

My other thinking was the same bridge but using the kit above not the loco it has a passthrough and then adding an outdoor AP at this tree aimed towards the treehouse and if sufficient wireless then add some Battery / Solar cameras but ideally wanted to stay with Protect cameras but the do not do battery etc.

Maybe the Outdoor 7 on side of house with another AP at the woods would do even in mesh without the need for the bridge etc.

Any thing obvious I'm missing as I regularly over think things like this :p

Just to add, a camera running through the day will really chew up your Starlink bandwidth and their load balancing or whatever they call it

I’d expect the camera to be recording locally and not over the internet.

OP - Seems like you have it largely worked out. Ubiquiti have their point to point products which will probably do the job nicely. I’m pretty sure multiple can be relayed through a switch as line of sight is required. I assume latency isn’t an issue for what you are doing?

Edit: you’ll need some cabling to the treehouse as you’ll need to power the cameras even if connectivity is via radio.

Thanks I did suspect the ptp was the way to go to minimise the cabling. This allows the use of protect so all recording locally as well.

Can you draw this out or attach a Google Maps view or something? When you say it's not fully line of sight are we talking about a few trees or is there a hill in the way?

Sure thing. House - Power point next to try with line of sight to house - Proposed route for cable to treehouse

Monitoring / Security as its visible when the tree canopy is less dense at certain parts of the year. Had a few local scumbags think its public infrastructure and not private property so will will be using AI cameras with notifications along with presence sensors.

Do you have a 4G signal? If so, Reolink has a 4G trail cam that might be an option.

Do you have much "Private Property - Keep Out" signage around the treehouse? Or much physical security?

No power at treehouse only the power at the half way point. Ethernet from that point is less difficult as will be poe so can power camera and ap without the need for power at the treehouse.

To answer the other questions plenty signs and fence and walls but don’t want the place looking like a prison
