Internet + TV For A Shared Student Flat

Hi, i was wondering what packages that other students are on for the above. Theres 7 of us so i think a 8MB connection will be the min, all the joint packages i have found only come with 2MB Ofcourse cost is an issue, and its hard to persuade the 4 girls that we need an amazing connection for me to play games and im sick of ringing up to find out all the extra cost grrrr

Virgin Broadband seems to be the cheapest at the moment, got an offer on at the moment. So you can get the following:

M - 2Mb £10 per month (was £18)
L - 4Mb £17 per month (was £25)
XL - 20Mb £29 per month (was £37)

Offer ends 30.6.07 though and only valid for the first 12 months but seem to be 12 month contracts so just cancel after that

Freeview for the TV, never much decent on and if you need to watch football then just pop down to the local

Yeah I agree. Plus with Virgin Cable Broadband, you don't need to take their phone line, which can save a lot of hassle in a student place.

Unless you took their phone and got the free virgin tv?

im on 10meg ntl which they screwed up upgrading so got it like 15£ for 3 months just ring them up and they should give you a good deal if you say you are lookin at their service but see cheaper offers
