when they did it to me they sent a letter whcih said 4 months ago (wen i was home before uni) i had downloaded 60gb in one month, this was unacceptable for someone who has paied for unlimited downloads apparently
Even though I'd been away for the 4 months so it was just my dad so about 500mb a month dl'd tops for those months :/

NTL cap off peak so might be the case with Sky aswell?

BT really do suck.
I miss the internet in uni halls 10mb, and i downloaded hundreds of gigs of streaming tv/films every months never got limited.
Only trouble was when some auto patcher used a bittorrent style thing, so was cut off for a day till they could check it wasn't intentional.
