Many of you are probably aware of Molly Holzschlag (www.molly.com). One of the more level-headed and active commenters in the web development community on web standards - was part of WaSP, 'Zen of CSS Design' book etc. Interesting news that she's now been officially contracted to the team at Microsoft that deals with their Web apps (notably IE, of course). I believe she's been working with them for a while, but not on an official basis.
Real reason for the post is this interview from BBC backstage. Worth investing the time to watch - talking about the problems facing IE development at Microsoft (bureaucracy), the problems facing large corporations like the BBC trying to adapt to modern web standards, educating people about web standards (and the misunderstandings therein) and the problem of web standards development itself.
Incidentally, was anyone previously aware of BBC Backstage? New one to me, looks interesting.
