Ok, please bear with me as I struggle to explain this without giving too much info out.
I'm having issues with offsite links on my intranet. My intranet is a smaller offshoot of a larger collection of intranets that all work together. However the system that I'm working from, is preventing me from accessing any other intranet links bar my own.
eg.
http://www.site.company.intranet.restriction.com
This will work on my intranet as its within my domain,
http://www.site.company2.intranet.restriction.com
This won't work, internet explorer fails to even acknowlege the fact that the link is a working link.
I would like to add before anyone else does, that I'm stuck with IE6, I cannot change it, and the company providing the IT to my company will not upgrade to the latest version as it has not been tested for stability on our computers and they would charge us the earth to do so.
My question is, can I pass the URL of the desired link to an asp or jsp page that will autoforward to the link passed into it? I've tried researching it and cannot find a viable solution.
