I'm trying to work from home but my intranet isn't working and I don't know what settings I need to change to make it work again...

I had this problem before and the IT support guys at work just ticked some boxes under 'Internet Options' and it started working again.

Anyone have any idea??

I just called up IT support (never knew they were 24/7

) and it's all sorted now!

I had to go into 'Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)' and enter a DNS server address that the guy gave me.

Oh dammit now it's set so that when I'm not connected on VPN, my normal internet connection doesn't work?!? :confused:

Oh... so he didn't actually 'fix' fix it?

Oh well nevermind... It's only my work laptop anyway, as long as normal internet works on my own personal laptop then I'm not bothered!

Well this is the second time it has happened... The first time it was a woman who managed to get it right and fix my settings... This time the guy had changed my settings so that I can't go on the internet without being logged on to VPN. Men huh... useless!!
