I gave up on BF4's campaign. After it auto saved me falling to my death on the dam.

Is there no quicksave? I quicksave whore to avoid this, between quick + auto + regular saves it's almost impossible to screw yourself over.

May be but by the time I'd done 3/4 of the level and it had reloaded the auto save 5 times, making me relive my terrible end...I just packed it in

You didn't miss much, it's all about the multiplayer with BF4 anyway of course.
