Hello!

Well, I've been following the forums this week and making the odd post but I've been lurking for quite a while. I finally got round to registering and hope to make a solid contribution here.

I know a colleague of mine is registered here as AsusRep and he is here in an official capacity. Im actually the person responsible for the PR and Marketing for Components in the UK and I'll be checking the forums numerous times, daily as best as I can to hopefully become part of the community here and play an active part in the forum.

I'm not here to brainwash you - Though if you want to be brainwashed forever, please watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHg5SJYRHA0

I, like a lot of folk here, have a keen interest in hardware, overclocking, the odd bit of PC Gaming and all together fast things - Including cars. I'm also an avid fan of MMA.

Note: I'm not here in a technical support function, but more to help keep you updated on upcoming products, BIOS changes and to answer any questions you might have about ASUS and our products.

Glad to be here :)

I'm guessing you mean the Global Site?

It's had a front end redux recently, to make it easier to navigate and added a board comparison tool and the load times are also a lot better than they used to be. I'd suggest using the http://uk.asus.com website for general enquiries and browsing.

If you mean the support site, I agree it's damned slow for downloads (Server is in China) but if you use the "DLM" download location, it's generally a lot quicker.

We're actually working on a proper UK based website, not just an off-shoot of the global site but as I'm sure you can imagine these things take time. :)
