Haha I wondered the same, thought it was just me until I checked online after. I had a hard time figuring out what was relevant considering it was a pilot episode. Then again I guess that was the creators intention..

The second episode came out the same day online in case you haven't noticed. It's on YT and the BBC America site.

I haven't watched episode 2 yet, but I did notice that the number 9 seems to be everywhere in episode 1.
