inundated with spam

Since 0000h I have had 20emails of spam, this has been going for a few weeks now but has really grown out of control.
All subjects/beginning text his Hi Ross and offers anything from supermarket vouchers to herbal remedies, they immediatley get deleted.

It's been that long since I've last had to do anything so what do I need to do?

You could spend, days, weeks, months adding the addresses / domains to your spam exclude list or you could ditch the email address and set up two new ones for future use, one for personal, and if required, one for social / websites / email newsletters etc

either use gmail (stopping all spam) or copy them words in to a blacklist.

or do it by email. words are more effective though as it will block multiple sites

Yup, Gmail is awesome at filtering spam. I get maybe 1 to 2 a month, max.
