invalid data error - HELP MIE PLX
every time I plug something new into a USB port windows recognises the device and attempts to install it, but everytime it returns the message 'your hardware ahs not been installed: Invalid Data'
*nothing* works, not even if it something that has seperate drivers e.g an ipod
I've googled around and all I found was to give full permissions to the device in the registry - which I did (didnt work), and to replace the 'Driver' file in Driver Cache with the file from the install cd (also didn't work).
help me plx =(
this is a serious problem - I cant get my work on to a flash disk or external hdd, I cant dl my pics from my camera to pc etc etc
