So my upgrade from Win 8.1 to 10 didn't go so clean.

So i downloaded the ISO, and booted from USB. Deleted all partitions and allowed / used Win10 to recreate them for me.

It installed Win10, but after the final reboot, instead of getting me to the welcome/settings screen, it doesn't boot and just says Invalid Partition Table.

Any pointers? This is on a Dell laptop. I used UEFI boot from the flash drive.

I think I fixed it.

Choose boot options and selected UEFI Harddrive... I'll need to change it in the Bios, but at least its booting.

Edit yes, confirmed, i had legacy boot enabled instead of UEFI boot in the Bios.

UEFI as far as I'm aware uses a different disk layout compared to legacy in install (I THINK!), glad you got it sorted though. :)

I never really turn off UEFI, unless I am using Linux, to simplify things of course.
