I've got this recorded and have finally got round to watching it, now I've seen the first two episode and I'm fairly interested but I've been told by a friend that this show has been cancelled.

So the question is, is this true and is it worth me watching the first series or will it end leaving everything unresolved?

PS. please don't give anything play wise away if possible, cheers.
 
I think the series started off really strongly, but began suffering from the same plight that Lost did at times - they figured they were able to stretch it over many seasons, and the middle-stretch began to sag terribly.

Once it looked like they were being cancelled, it actually picked up again over the last few episodes, but ended up being a little rushed.

Thinking back, I did enjoy watching it though - don't let my comments put you off :p
 
I thought it was very enjoyable especially if you don't have to wait a week to see the next episode but there are a lot of questions left unanswered. I want a second series! :mad:
 
It started off well, but quikcly became a "chore" to watch.

Ive currently watched to about episode 15/16 - with the remainder to finish.
 
first few episodes till about episode 4 - AWESOME
then 5 through to about 11 are exactly the same just with different people "discovering" each week.
then it gets a little interesting again..

then it just turns to crap in the last 2 episodes where they've really rushed it to finish it off due to the cancellation.
 
Started slow... then as we watched it more me and the missus loved it. Were gutted when we found out there's no 2nd series. :(
 
Tought it was quite good. Bit of a grind in parts. If they do make Season 2 I hope it has a bit more X-Files & V to it so you understand the Agenda of why they are here what there bigger plans are
 
I would say stick with it. Like many others have said here the first few episodes of the series are good, a bit boring in the middle (I nearly stopped watching it) of the series but the last few episodes are the best.

Stick with it you won't be disappointed.
 
I rated it as one of the best series of the year for me. It was fantastic and it got the cancellation order half way through the show which was bloody stupid.

The funny thing is, the show is rated very highly and has a huge following.

The main problem with it was, it was aired at a good time slot in the US and then they moved it to an 11pm slot which hindered the number of viewers bringing its cancellation.

It was cancelled before it took off here in the UK but became successful here. Its currently airing in other countries for the first time and is a huge hit.

Another US tv company attempted to pick the rights up to air a second season but pulled out due to its huge production costs.

All I can say is, its a bloody shame but you never know, with its growing fan base across the world and with the first season ending with a "to be continued" style, a tv company may yet pick it up.
