Inverted y-axis

Yay or nay?

Probably discussed to death over time but for me absolutely yay.

I suppose it relates more to controllers but am I the small minority or can others see the logic in it based on how a traditional joy/flight stick works?

For the odd few games I actually use a controller for, yes always inverted Y-axis.

yep controller / joystick and mouse all inverted! Back form old Amiga days and flight sims I think and it's just stuck

I play inverted also. I think it's from playing TFX and Knights of the Sky in my early days of gaming.

Inverted for me - it goes with head motion - pull back = head goes up, push forward = head goes down.

Well that was weird, after scrolling down a bit and reading the thread, I somehow managed to scroll my mousewheel up, fully expecting the screen to go down. What just happened?

My brain just does not work like that! Up, I press up, down I press down :rolleyes:

Drives the Hubby crazy, constantly changing control settings if we take it in turns on the same controller.

Mouse and joy pad stick are inverted for me. From my (Dad's) first games being flight sims with a joystick. Can't convert now!

Everything else is normal Y axis though.

Absolutely inverted. The other way round just feels wrong.
