Want to eat healthier next year and have less fuss with meals as well. A steamer seems a good idea but apart from putting random vegetables in and fish I'm looking for ideas.

I'm guessing that a fair few people here use steamers and will share some tasty ideas with me. :)

I'm not fussy at all in terms of what I eat either and like pretty much anything so hit me with any ideas you have. :D

Absolutely nothing, I bought one and now can't be bothered because it's a bit annoying to wash up. I did cook all kinds of veg in it, then used the stock for yummy sauces. :) I prefer to sautee my veg now.

Wouldn't bother getting an electric one. Just get the regular hob pan set.

yea hob ones work great , I dont see the point in the electric ones when its something as simple as steam rising into a compartment.

I'd imagine the multi tier hob ones can hold more stuff aswell

Have a hob one and use it every day, couldn't live without it.
Cook most veg in it (carrots, peas, sweetcorn, cabbage, broccili, potatoes, leek, parsnips, greens and sprouts) plus fish.
