Invinsible on CoD2

I was happily playing call of duty 2 multiplayer and the server started a new map up. I was running around for a couple of minuites killing everything in my path and thought i was on a bit of a roll! After a couple of point blank shotguns to the face i thought something wierd was going on so i stood still. About 10 Americans opened fire on me and i wasnt being killed. This was about the point when i got a lot of 'You uber n00b ch34ter!' messages!

I changed team to kill myself and it was all beck to normal and i could die again. So for a couple of minuites i was invinsible!:d I dont know why or how because i have never cheated or anything.

Has this happend to anyone else? Should i report it to Activision/Infinity Ward?

I hope i dont get banned

lol u wont get banned, except maybe from the specific server you were on. Its obviously just some weird bug that happened to you. You can do that kind of stuff during warm up rounds in clan matches.

I wouldnt worry about it too much.

its actually a bug with the game, it was on COD1 as well.

I remember my bro in law suffering from it, we got him to stand still and surrounded him with nades, nothing, not a scratch.
