could someone clarify how the invite system works in COD4? for example, you see in your friends list at the right (on the main ps3 screen) that a mate is in COD4...
now, he might be playing with some of his mates that aren't on your list, and so wouldn't be willing to leave that party just to join yours... and also if he is already in a game, i'm worried about doing an "invite friend to your party" incase it pops something up while he's playing or whatever... likewise since there is no way to see if he's actually in a game at that moment in time, if you go into a game as a stop gap he'd then miss you...
could someone clear this up for me as i obviously dont know what i'm talking about, the only times i've played with mates is when i've been in the lobby area and its popped up with an invite from someone else... dont really know how to control it myself?
p.s. i though there was a thread somewhere with peoples ps3 tags so you can add them for games like this but i can't seem to find it... anyone got a link cuz it'd be good to play against people from ocuk as opposed to a load of randoms
