Invoicing Software

Hi guys.

Im looking for some invoicing software for my iMac. Ive just started up a second company which will generate a lot more invoices as its a hire company. Just doing a quick mock up on word isn't going to cut it anymore.

So I've had a look over ExpressInvoice but it doesn't have options of hire length etc other than that i love it, i love how it records and reports everything and even keeps track of payments and when things are overdue.

Sage is just to much for me, to much to learn and way to complex for my current simple needs.

Anyone else got anything that they use? Its doesn't have to be free.

never like it when people ask for a subscription over a one off purchase. I get it, just don't like it

Not sure about Mac but for invoicing I just created a Access database... you can build it exactly for you needs, I've raised VAT invoices for 10,000s of customers

Fresh Books is quite good, its US based but seems to support UK address', currency and VAT rates automatically. It's cloud based, rather than something you install onto your Mac.

We use Freeagent - been with them since there were 3 of us as a startup. Now there are 22 of us and we still use it as it's so much simpler than Sage
