So, McG started as i assume he means to go on, although failures for both Anstey and Martin took the edge off that race.

Anstey's Padgetts Honda dropped a valve and the generator packed up on Guys TAS Suzuki...Anstey announced he would make up for the dissapointment of that by doing a 132mph lap in the Senior

I would like to add that the RC30-esque paint on McG's bike is stonking :D, and give a big thumbs up to Conor Cummins, to even be back on a bike after what he did last year, let alone racing again this year...balls of big steel!!!

Don't watch this if have any sympathy for the human body!!!

That crash is horrible! The bike just lets go on him.

The highlights have been good so far. Shame guys bike didnt do so well!

Im routing for guy to win a race this year.

Can you imagine first lap of practice at race speed going through the verandah and just getting on with the job???, jeez. And as for Guy, i honestly believe, when he gets one...he'll win more and wonder what the hell he's been playing at before!!!
:D

Do like the colours of that Honda. There was a shot of McG going flat-out through a left hand dip, bike bottomed out, bars and bike squiggling!
Some nice slow-mo's of them landing the jumps.

Was gutted for Guy but had to lol at him. Parked his bike up and walked into a field and sat under a tree so the TV chopper couldn't see him.

Yup, you get the feeling if Guy didn't have bad luck, he wouldn't have ANY luck at times...i'm not sure he could have troubled McG but a podium would have been a good start to the week.

And as for the slow-mo's, heres hoping for more of this sort of stuff, so good to watch...
:)

a few people looking good, my money is on mcguinness as ever but guy martin is looking good

id like to add connor cummins is crap

the isle of man is full of underhand stuff with the riders off the tt like milky quaile getting his mate off a murder charge, however aleast he retired after a crash

So there is a thread about the Greatest Bike race in the Entire World then.
Coverage has been on ITV4 @ 9pm for those that don't know & it has been Awesome.

RIP to Derek Brien.

Yesterdays Super Stocks was incredible with Dunlop taking first by about 13 seconds or so.
Guy Martin is a fave of mine I love the dudes character & hope he wins one this year. Can't wait to see the new TT film with Martin in it either.

Has anyone else seen TT3D: Closer to the Edge?

Saw it on Sunday and I have to say it was amazing, definitely worth paying the extortionate ticket prices :D

Really want to see it but it means travelling miles and miles to go...i have instructed swmbo that i would rather like the dvd for xmas...
:D

i think guy martins great i love hearing him talk on TV lol
he just comes out with strange random stuff while they interview him
i just end up laughing out loud at the tv

I was a bit gutted about yesterdays race being stopped short of 2 laps as Micheal Dunlop deserved the win, Nobody died though despite some slippery conditions & a bad crash so onto today & more Epic street racing.

Got back from the IOM all the way to Plymouth yesterday, aching and a bit gutted I couldn't stay to see the senior tomorrow. What an amazing place it is though, incredible atmosphere and a very refreshing attitude to road safety (though 7 people had died as of yesterday...), makes the Nurburgring look pretty limp by comparison. Ferry left early yesterday so we got to go over the mountain at 5:30am and it was completely empty :D

I just don't get how the riders can react fast enough to corners when doing 150mph around streets corners must appear so fast with no margin for error.

Oh well, McGuinness does it again, with a very impressive lead over GM. Still, a second isn't a bad result for the Lincolnshire lad for the final event.

I can't believe they didn't show the Senior race @ 9pm last night.
I heard the excuses of not enough time etc Then get some more bodies on the job, NOW !!!
