Hey,

after my old quad core Q6600 got sent to a server room for NAS and Hosting server i was missing having a pc. Laptop isn't quite the same.

I wanted something as small as i could build, silent and consume as little power with out being dog slow.

Came across the Zotac IONITX range of ITX boards. I choose the F-E version with built-in in WIFI and a PCIE16 slot for future upgradabilty. That particular board had an ATOM N330 Dual core CPU in with a Nvidia ION GPU (Based on the 9400)

Standard CPU clock is 1607mhz but with a mild overclock to 2009mhz see's a fast little box. Dual core|HTT enabled

The case was an Akasa Crypto, 4 GB of Crucial DDR2 800. 250GB 2.5" SATA 7200 HDD and a slimline sony dvdrw drive.

The system is powered by an external power supply. inside the case is a dc-dc converter board.

Pictures speak a thousand words so they say....
