iOS 5 on iPhone 4

Hey guys,

So for quite a while now I have been getting annoyed by the calendar app on my iPhone 4. I always like to know what I am doing on a particular day but without remembering I have something on and then checking the calendar app. I understand you can set reminders but I do not always want to do this for my events.

When the notification centre was released I thought this might solve the problem. To an extent it does, it displays all events on that particular day in a list. But again I do not really want to go into the notification centre everytime to check what I am doing. I never actually use the notification centre anyway, seems to slow me down.

So the question I am asking, is it possible to display the relevant calendar events for the day on the lock screen? Or something that informs me what I am doing without have to go through apps. This might be simple, it might not be! Any answers will be appreciated.

Sorry about the long post! Thanks :)

If you're willing to jailbreak then you can do this...I'm afraid I can't name apps off the top of my head but I'm sure someone can come along and tell you more than I can :)

Man thats a pain! Not going to jailbreak, I guess I will have to put up with it for now.

Seems to be something android definitely does better than apple!

Thanks everyone.
