After several years of having iPhones I'm moving over to Android. These are probably going to seem very silly questions but....

Firstly, my contacts are all liked to my Hotmail account. Will these transfer over ok when setting up?

Secondly, my photos are all saved to my icloud account. How do I transfer all my photos over to Android?
 
Gave my old Pixel 4 to my daughter and she moved everything from her iPhone by going through the setup wizard on the pixel and used the link cable to hook them together.
It copied all her contacts and photos etc and transferred them to her Google account
 
You can just sign into your Hotmail account, and set that as the default account for your contacts.

Google Photos will be the best option for photos already on the iPhone, but those that have been removed from the local storage and backed up, you'll need to download them from iCloud.
