iOS Tower Defence games?

I'm looking for a good, nay, great tower defence game for my iBendy.

I recently got iBomber Defense (sic) as a freebie from Starbucks which is great fun but it's old and bugged in the respect that any game progress isn't saved which makes it a bit useless really.

Does anyone have any suggestions for good games in the same genre please?

I don't want to faff about with stupid IAPs either so I don't mind paying a few quid upfront for a game that's worth it.

Bear in mind that I don't play a lot of games, the only ones on my iBendy at the moment are Bejeweled 2 and Flick Kick Football so I'm looking for something I can put on there which will stay for ever :)
 
All the Kingdom Rush games and Sentinel 3 offer IAPs which is something I'm trying to avoid. Are those purchases essential to progression within the games?

Also, as mentioned, I see three Kingdom Rush games: Kingdom Rush, Kingdom Rush Frontiers and Kingdom Rush Origins. If I were to go with just one of those, which would be the one to buy?

No, you can build up gems to spend on extras without using IAP's - I've been playing it since it was first released, it is regularly updated and thoroughly enjoyable.

I have Kingdom Rush and Frontiers - I personally prefer Kingdom Rush as it is the original and the one I am most familiar with.
 
You don't need to spend anything on Iap on Kingdom Rush all you can buy are new heroes really, you would never need to buy diamonds as there pointless. Not sure which one is the best, there all great just get all 3 there only 3 quid each.
 
Kingdom rush is super balanced, never felt the need to spend on IAP. Its gets tough, but its not something that forces you too spend but instead rethink, I think its best in close.

Fieldrunner 1/2 and bloons I've spent a lot of time into as well there fun but again I don't think their as good as kingdom rush. Bloons I feel is far to easy, I finished the game on the hardest setting for almost all the map, never had to spend too many tries on any given map.

For info, iBomber Defense has now been updated and game progress saves. I lost three hours to that game last night in a hotel room!

It's thoroughly worth a download, especially if anyone can find the Starbucks giveaway card for it. If not, I think it's worth paying for.
 
I used to play geodefence and geodefence swarm... both pretty addictive. Not sure what the IAPs are, they never used to use them

This. They've also got a Monkey City game out which is free, offers IAP but the progression is good I feel. Nice concept to the original game.

Bloons TD5 itself, you can easily unlock all the towers and their max levels without IAP.

Fieldrunners or whatever it's called is quite good; Bloons is easily the most played on my phone though.

Kingdom Rush games are awesome too, I've not got the third one... yet :p
