Thought I'd open up this thread as I've just discovered a bug with iOS4 and iTunes 9.2.
On my iPod touch 3G and iTunes 9.2. It wont let me choose the options to manually manage my songs and sync books at the same time, I can only have one selected or the other selected.
If anyone has found any other perculiar bugs post away.
