A bit of an odd one and perhaps not strictly fitting for the forum, but I figure I've got more chance of finding an answer here than anywhere else.
I'm looking for a proximity card based access control system that does it's communication over IP.
He have two large sites where running new cable is not economical and we cannot use existing structured cabling because most extremities are linked with fiber. So the idea comes that perhaps an IP based system would do the trick without masses of cabling.
Have any of you used or seen such a system?
