ok my business currently had 2 panasonic ip cameras which are a total pita to get to work online(i am useless with networks) At home i use synology nas for my ip cameras as then i can just connect to the surveillance station wherever i am. The main thing stopping me getting another one for there is because of the licencing you need to buy per camera which could get expensive as more are added.
What route would you guys advise since i would prefer just having to connect to one thing for all the cameras independent of make etc.
Is there a different (cheapish) nas i could use or how else would you set it up?

holding recordings is no problem as i don't need to
Maybe i should explain i run a farm and have cameras set up so i and my staff can monitor livestock during the birth process so if anything happens a member of staff can be there asap instead of having to go to the farm every 30 minutes to check during the night.
As currently these only work on lan and are being a pain to get over the internet on Panasonics own ip site (it did work but now i have no idea why it doesn't) i am looking for a better and easier way to get these cameras over the net. If it is very easy i will be adding more cameras because by god getting up at 4am and going outside is not fun.
I like the synology setup at my house (i don't live at the farm) as it is a simple one press app from my mobile phone and i have access to all my cameras so am looking if there are any alternatives that work as well as this and are as easy to work with.
But like i said i am awful with networks!
