I was wondering if the IP35 Board has much in the way of CPU fan control? Im currently using a nice big Zalman fan which the mobo is running at full speed. IS there anyway of utilising a better way of control, ie reduced speed at reduced level of use?

I’ve heard the IP35 has 3 modes in bios available, but these don’t make much difference? Is there any software which is better etc?

If its the abit using fanEq in the bios (or uguru in windows) remember that the temps it reads are way out (probably due to the different tj max values of the newer cpus), therefore the fan control tends to not work very well unless you adjust it's high and low temps to take into account discrepancies between the mobo readings and a program like realtemp (about 12c on my system).

On mine i've taken 12c off my desired high and low temp settings in bios fanEq settings and now you can actually hear the fan kicking up a gear once the cores are under load
