I'm currently running a Q6600 @ 3.2ghz on an IP35-E, which is stable at 1.28v in the BIOS, and load temps rarely exceed 50c.
However when trying to push this to 3.6ghz, I'm finding it will reboot very quickly when I set the voltage to 1.42 or higher and stress it. However I can sit it at 1.4v and it's stable for gaming, but not Prime or IBT. I think this is PWM temp related as they hit 75-80c on load at 3.2ghz.
Is there anything I can do about this? I've tried sitting a fan on top of the PWM sink (at the expense of not having a fan on the Pull side of my NH-U12P) and it doesn't seem to make much difference, so would a reseat of the PWM sink be in order?
