Hi guys.
Some background.
My machine was an IP35-Pro with 4Gb of OCZ Platinum (4x4Gb) and a Core2Duo. My other machine was a crap old A64.
So I upgraded both by getting a new IP35-Pro, a Q6600 and another 4Gb of ram, but this time 2x2Gb Corsair XMS2.
So I built my main machine using the new motherboard, OCZ memory and the Q6600. All works.
I took the old IP35-Pro and Core2Duo and installed into the other machine, using the new 2x2Gb Corsair memory.
Problems started.
Basically, if I use slots 1 and 3 for dual channel, the machine detects only 2Gb of ram at POST. If I use slots and 1 and 2, for example, then it works fine, detects 4Gb, but doesn't work in dual channel.
Until last night this board was working perfectly in my main machine with the 4 OCZ sticks in dual channel.
Any ideas guys?
Thanks!
