IP35 Pro Problem

I've just swapped out my old Ultra-D/Opty for the IP35 Pro + C2D and everytime i shutdown windows the board powers itself back up again :eek:

I've spent a while playing with various BIOS (version it shipped with) and windows (fresh XP install) settings to no avail.

All wake up by and resume by settings are disabled in the BIOS

any ideas ?

rest of system:
2GB Ballistix
EVGA 8800GTX
OCZ 620 PSU
just one HDD atm 74G Raptor

First thing I'd do is flash the BIOS to version 11, you can do this within Windows though do so at your own risk.

Yeah i was pretty much at that point but it seems a simple clear cmos did the trick :rolleyes:

Nice, but you should still up the bios, as Ulfhedjinn says, v11 brings some good memory stability, etc.

Glad to see that you got it sorted, but as mk17 said, I'd still flash to v11 BIOS.
