boot into bios, and disable C1E, EIST etc... basically any energy saving
also some settings for your cpu and board, for 3.6ghz, just watch your temps dont let it go higher than 80.C running prime95.

+1 to this, my 920 is clocked at 4.2ghz, got speedstep enabled as i dont need that sort of power for web browsing.Why disable energy saving features?
The processor will ramp up to 3GHz when needed.
Denrok, leave things as they are. The CPU is downlocking when idle to save electricity. It ramps up to 3GHz as soon as you need it.
