Vdrop
Vdrop is the difference between the selected voltage in the BIOS and the actual idle voltage, typically this is about 0.05V though new P35 boards seem to be a lot less affected by it. THIS IS NOT Vdroop

Been testing PC and have found that I couldn't run Q6600 at 3GHZ with a lower Vcore than 1.405V. I then looked at CPU-Z to find it saying my Vcore was 1.376....

1) Is this a Vdrop/Vdroop, and is it a big one?

2) Is there any benefit in trying to lower it?

It doesn't seem to have an impact on anything from what I can see. I'm most likely just fiddling...
