IP35 with e8400

just a quick one does anyone know if that cpu works on that board?

before you say check the site i did already and they dont list anything above the e68XX range on there cpu list so i was rather hoping for first hand yes/no

Yes it does. (running an IP35 Pro + E8400 @ 3.6 GHz here)

assuming that we are talking abit IP35 it will work although you'll probably want to update the BIOS to get the reported temps sensible.

If you are talking the J&W board it also work, straight out the box. Still recommend you to update to bios 1.3b which at the moment is the best bios imo.
