ip4000 printing blank

Getting frustrated now.

I've tried to print a few pages off and they're all coming out blank. I've cleaned the nozzles, cleaned the heads, realligned the heads, reinstalled the heads and the cartridges and it still wont print any ink. Its going through the window in a minute.

It appears that in the ink status monitor my blk 6 is kind of greyed out suggesting it is empty. This cant be right as it is a brand new canon original cartridge. It also appears to print fine in the other colours. Seems to suggest there is something wrong with the black nozzle or something...

Have you tried it with another black cartridge? It might be chip thats nackered.

doh, i got this problem too

i tried to print some pictures all the colours come out fine cept black

im using some compatibles though
